High Point Village on Thursday announced the receipt of a grant from the Community Foundation of West Texas.

The $4,158 grant will fund Adventureland Summer Camp, a three-part camp program to provide activities and programs for individual with special needs. The camp will include a Summer Nights’ program, an art camp, an elementary camp for kids in first through fifth grades and a secondary camp for those in sixth grade and older.

“We are thrilled to get this grant,” said Becky Critz, executive director of High Point Village, in a news release. “Summer activities for individuals with special needs are very limited. This enables us to expand our summer services.”

Registration for the camp opens Tuesday. Call 806-698-0015 for additional information.
