Foundation awards over $2 million in 2016

Since its inception in 1981, the Community Foundation of West Texas (Formerly Lubbock Area Foundation) has had the privilege and honor of awarding over $18 million in grants and scholarships to help better our community. The Community Foundation of West Texas announced grants to three agencies totaling almost $30,000.00. These grants are gifts made possible through the E. Jay Matsler Trust for Historic Preservation.
